Nashville took advantage of having four days off with a 3-2 overtime win over Anaheim, which was still recovering from a draining seven-game series with Edmonton that ended just two nights before. James Neal scored the game-winner and Pekka Rinne made 27 saves for the Predators, who came out strong in the first period and then showed resilience after Hampus Lindholm's goal tied it for the Ducks in the third period. Nashville is 9-2 in the playoffs and outshot the Ducks 46-29, including 15-6 in the first period. Rinne has a 1.41 goals-against average and .950 save percentage in the postseason compared to 2.22 and .924 for Anaheim goalie John Gibson. The Predators have shown no signs of letdowns as they have won six of eight after a win and nine of their last 10 overall after allowing two or fewer goals in their previous game. Also, Nashville is 24-9 its last 33 games against Western Conference teams. This is familiar territory for Nashville, which defeated the Ducks in seven games in the first round last season. Play the Predators on the puck line.
