Montreal at Vancouver

The Montreal Canadiens have been skating well, and playing both ends as they head to Vancouver with an impressive 8-2 mark. Vancouver started last season as a bonafide contender, only to crumble around mid-season, and fell completely apart to never recover. They have vindicated themselves in the early going this season at 6-3. Vancouver has it all going right now as they seek a three-game sweep of their home stand, winning by 2 and 3 goals in the first two, and should be charged up to do the same vs. a good Montreal team. Vancouver was swept a season ago, losing by a 9-3 count in the two games, and will be looking for payback in this one. Montreal has not gotten anything done on the road with their power play opportunities where they are 0-21.
