The Philadelphia Flyers have been a bit upside down, playing better on the road than on home ice where they have won 5 of 11 on the season. Ironically, they face the Montreal Canadiens who have duplicated that, coming in with a winning road mark, but losing at home. The Canadiens did most of their losing early, posting a 1-7 mark to start the season, but have bounced back nicely to go 9-5 over their last 14 games. They are playing at a much higher level, especially on the road where they have cashed five of their last seven. They have been playing on an even higher level on a single day of rest at 7-2 over their last nine games. The Flyers’ inconsistency shows a very poor indicator when following a win where they are an under-achieving 8-17 in their last 25, including just 3-9 as a favorite of -110 to -150. Play on Montreal.
