The Canadiens have been this postseason's greatest story. The NHL's most storied franchise has taken the hockey world by storm by knocking off the No. 1 seed and the defending Stanley Cup champions to get here. We are now left with a very unlikely scenario - the No. 7 seed vs. the No. 8 seed for the right to play for the Cup. Clearly Montreal is better than we thought. But, I really like them to fall to the Flyers here in game one. The Canadiens are still a losing road team this season and Philly has been great in this building, going 28-18, holding opponents to 2.5 goals per game. Despite their opening round wins, Montreal has allowed more goals in the playoffs than they have scored, so on average, they really haven't been playing great hockey. Compare that to Philly who has outscored their playoff opponents 3.1 to 2.4 on average. While the Canadiens are the better story, I like the Flyers to win game one.
