The Montreal Canadiens recovered from a bad start, but have now lost their last four games. It hasn't been all that bad however, as two of them were lost in either overtime or a shootout. The Canadiens have done a much better job finding the net as they have tallied 3 goals or more in six of their last nine games. The Kings have done a much better job on the road this season, but recently they haven't done much winning regardless of the venue. They have been 7-9 over their last 16 games. Since recording three straight shutouts, the Kings have suddenly allowed 3 goals or more in 12 of their last 18, in stark contrast to where they were earlier on. The Canadiens like an active schedule where they have responded with a 13-6-1 mark playing their third game in four days, while the Kings sit at 2-5 on a single day of rest. The Canadiens are also playing up in the third game in four days with the OVER at 5-2 in their last seven. The Canadiens have also had the Kings’ number, winning six straight, and five of the last six in LA have topped the total. I’m playing on Montreal and the OVER in this one.
