Montreal at Dallas

Dallas has won five of the past six meetings, including a 4-2 victory on Dec. 23 when the Stars rallied from a 2-0 deficit. The Stars have won seven of their past nine games and two in a row after their 8-1 blowout against Chicago on Sunday. Mason Marchment had three goals and an assist and Scott Wedgewood had 23 saves for the Stars. Wedgewood is expected in net tonight and he is 11-2-2 with a 2.92 GAA and a .905 save percentage. Montreal has several injuries on the offensive side and it has lost three in a row following a 4-3 defeat at Tampa Bay on Sunday. This is the seventh consecutive road game for the Canadiens and beleagured goalie Jake Allen has lost eight of nine appearances and he is 4-7-2 with a 3.40 GAA. Dallas has won six straight home games and five in a row overall playing with one day of rest. Make it a Max Play on the Stars.
