Montreal at Boston

The Boston Bruins were bounced out of the playoffs two years ago in the first round. Last year they were beaten in the second round. It seems like the Bruins do very well in the regular season, but can't get over the hump. The Bruins opened in Florida, getting beat 6-4 by the Panthers in a game they trailed 4-1 in the first. Montreal followed up a 31-win season in 2022 with a 30 win season last year, missing the playoffs both years. They opened some eyes at home last night, shutting down the potent Leafs attack in a 1-0 victory, but skating back-to-back here will be tough. This line may look high, but in 2022 the Canadiens took the ice on the road as a 200+ dog 24 times and went 5-19. Last year was even worse, as they were 3-13 in this role.
