Minnesota has lost three straight, but the Wild gets a major break tonight as it goes up against the hapless Vancouver Canucks, who are second-to-last in the Pacific Division with only 25 points and they have lost 11 of their last 12 games. The Canucks are averaging fewer than three goals per game and they come off a 2-1 loss to Dallas on Saturday when the Stars scored the tiebreaking goal with 3:23 left in the game. Minnesota won the first meeting 6-2 on Nov. 15 when Devan Dubnyk had 27 saves for the Wild and he comes into tonight's game with a 2.72 goals-against average and .909 save percentage. Minnesota is 11-4 its last 15 games against Western Conference teams and 14-6 its last 20 versus teams with losing records. The Canucks have lost 44 of their last 65 home games.
