Minnesota at Chicago

The Minnesota Wild has faced a difficult schedule to open the season, and it is taking its toll on this team. After opening on the road, they came home for just one game, and then hit the road for their next five. Then they played one at home, then back on the road, home again, and are now back on the road for just one game and then head back home. I’m not sure who made this schedule, but the Wild are earning their frequent flyer miles, and the resume reads a painful 0-7 on the road. The Blackhawks have played well and have yet to lose any game by more than a single goal, but also own three wins by 2+. The Wild can blame the schedule maker, but that doesn't explain it all as they are now 6-20 in their last 26 as a road dog, while the Blackhawks are a blistering 51-25 as a home favorite over their last 76 games. The Wild has had some success in Chicago, but this time they are worn down and in a bad spot. Chicago gets the call.
