Minnesota at Calgary

Both teams look to bounce back from losses as Calgary lost 2-1 to Carolina on Thursday and the Wild fell at Winnipeg 4-3 last night following an overtime loss to Columbus. Devan Dubnyk made 26 saves for the Wild against the Jets as the Wild continued a rough stretch to open the season, playing five of six games on the road. Chris Stewart already has five goals for Minnesota and Jason Zucker had a pair of assists against Winnipeg. Alex Stalock is expected in goal tonight and is making his second start of the season for the Wild. Mike Smith made 31 saves in the Flames' 2-1 loss to the Hurricanes when Justin Williams scored early in the third period to give Carolina the win. The Flames have lost two of three overall and five of their last six home games going back to last season. Minnesota did have five days off between games prior to Friday. Play the Wild.
