This is a tough spot for Minnesota, playing its fourth straight road contest. The Wild are not playing well, on a two-game skid as well as 1-6 in their last seven road games. Forward Zach Parise is not playing because of an injury, tied for the team lead with seven goals, while the defense has been poor all year. The Wild haven't held a lead in regulation in their last three games and have led for just 1 minute, 12 seconds during that seven-game road stretch. They have conceded the first goal in all but one of their nine road games. Boston does well against weak defensive teams and Minnesota is #20 in the NHL in goals allowed. Boston is tops in the NHL on the power play and third in goals scored. Minnesota goalie Devan Dubnyk is great at home but is 3-3-2 on the road with a 2.96 goals against average. Take Boston.
