Minnesota is in a tough situational spot, playing its fourth road game in five contests. It's also their third road game in four nights after a 2-1 shootout loss at the Los Angeles Kings on Friday. The defense is ranked 16th in goals allowed and 24th in penalty killing, with Devan Dubnyk sporting a 3.00 goals-against average. The Wild looked a little road weary as the Kings outshot Minnesota 32-14 through the first two periods. Minnesota is 2-5 when their opponent scores two goals or less in their previous game, and they face an Anaheim squad that has talent and is getting shots on net, but hasn't been able to bust out offensively yet. With an eye-popping 92 shots that either hit the net, missed the net, or were blocked Friday in a 3-0 loss, Anaheim is getting its chances. Anaheim is 0-for-11 on the power play, but has successfully killed 10-of-11 penalties while Minnesota has allowed four goals in 17 short-handed situations. The Ducks are 36-17 against the Western Conference, including 40-19 against the Central Division. Anaheim has dominated the series, 9-1 against Minnesota, including 4-1 at home. That includes a 3-0 sweep last season. Play Anaheim.
