Minnesota at Anaheim

The Anaheim Ducks have been anything but mighty lately. They have gone from a team that posted a 14-4 mark over an 18-game stretch to a team that has lost their way, dropping each of their last four. The Ducks are completely out of answers behind the net. On the defensive end they are allowing an unbelievable 24 goals in their last four games, or 6 per contest. So why would I take interest in them here? Like the stock market, sell on the good news, and buy on the bad. The Ducks are 27-10 in their last 37 as a favorite, including 24-9 as a home favorite in their last 33. The Wild has been on the ice a lot, which is never a good sign for them, with this being their fourth night out of the last six, a situation that has seen them go 16-35 in their last 51. The Wild has also grabbed just one win in the last five trips here. I’m playing Anaheim to win.
