Los Angeles at Washington

The Washington Capitals have really been a mediocre, even poor team, over the last 29 games where they are just 11-18. This team has really crashed and burned, but are being treated like the team they were by the oddsmakers, not the team they have become. They have produced just 30 goals in their last 15 games, or 2 per contest, having been shutout four times. LA has won five of their last seven and the only two setbacks were both decided beyond regulation. The Kings are also riding a seven game winning streak vs the Southeast, while the Caps are now win less in their last five vs the West. I like LA here.
