Vancouver has hit the skids, losing seven of nine and falling below the playoff cut line after getting dominated by Winnipeg 6-1 on Tuesday night. They allowed a natural hat trick by Kyle Connor in the first period and never recovered. The Canucks will be a tired team tonight as they just completed a five-game trip in nine days. Thatcher Demko is probable and he is 2-2-3 with a 3.17 goals-against average. Darcy Kuemper is 12-3-5 with a 2.11 GAA for Los Angeles. The Kings are 6-1 their past seven games playing with two days rest and Vancouver has lost six of seven versus teams with winning records. The Canucks have lost five of six home games against teams with losing road records. Los Angeles will seek to atone for a wasted effort by Kuemper on Monday when he stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 1-0 loss to Edmonton. Take the Kings.
