The LA Kings could very well turn out to be a sleeper team in the NHL Playoffs this year. The Kings struggled to find offense for most of the season, but late in the season things began to come together. The Kings offense managed to score four or more goals just 11 times in their first 54 games, while getting shutout eight times. Their last 28 games was a much different story, as they scored four or more in 11 of those and did not suffer a single shutout. Vancouver closed as a hot team converting eight of their last nine to the win column, recording three shutouts. The Kings closed the season at 9-4 in their last 13 vs. the Western Conference and their new found ability to find the net makes them a dangerous dog here. Play on LA.
