The St. Louis Blues were one of the most menacing teams in the entire NHL a year ago both on the backside of the ice and in front of the net. How things have changed. When you consider through an 82 game schedule last season, the Blues allowed just three opponents to score 5 or more goals in a game, it is hard to believe they have allowed more than that just in their last five games as each of their opponents have tallied 5+. The Kings were driven all the way to the Stanley Cup with a strong defense and great net play a year ago. They played 20 playoff games allowing 2 goals or less in 17 of the 20, but through ten games this season have allowed 2 goals or more in all ten. Maybe this total fits last year, but not what I have seen this season. Play the OVER.
