Los Angeles has won the past four meetings and six of seven against the Blue Jackets, who have lost three of four. Columbus is playing its fifth game in eight days, and the first four games were on the road. The Kings defeated Florida on Wednesday when Samuel Helenius notched his first NHL goal 6:41 into the third period to tie it, and Adrian Kempe scored 6:31 later for the eventual game-winner. The Kings have won 13 of 17 against the Metropolitan Division, and Darcy Kuemper is expected to start tonight's game. Kuemper is 14-4-5 with a 2.06 goals-against average and Los Angeles has won 10 of his past 14 starts.
