The wins haven't come easy for the Columbus Blue Jackets this season. They opened 0-7 on the season, which soon became 3-15. But there have been signs of improvement since as the Blue Jackets have doubled that win total in their last 12 games, playing even at 6-6. They were overmatched early during those first 18 games, losing half of them by 2 goals or more, but in their last 12 it has happened just three times and just once on home ice. Los Angeles is in the second of five straight on the road, and their offense has really struggled, as they have not scored more than 2 goals in a game in each of their last nine contests. That has resulted in just one win by 2 goals or more in their last 11 played. That coupled with the improved play of Columbus certainly sets up nicely on the puckline for the home team, as LA will struggle to score 2, let alone win by 2. Play Columbus on the puckline.
