Los Angeles at Colorado

Colorado is coming off a home loss and remain without their Captain, Joe Sakic who will be out three months with hernia surgery. Colorado won't be up for this game vs. the lowly Kings. It's been bad for the Kings but that might work in our favor. Cold teams (those having lost 8+ out of their last 10 games) are 84-73 in December games over the past decade. This is Colorado's fourth straight home game and the Avs are just 9-19 the past two seasons after playing two straight games at home. We look for LA to surprise this afternoon.
