Los Angeles at Chicago

The Los Angeles Kings have been on quite a roll, but the road travel has to be taking a toll. The Kings play their fourth road game in six contests tonight, with a trip to St. Louis on tap tomorrow. Despite the hot run, this is not a strong offensive team, 20th in goals scored and 18th on the power play. Like last year, defending champion Chicago is a dominant defensive team, seventh in goals allowed and 10th in penalty killing. Chicago has registered eight power-play goals this season, with Patrick Kane and defenseman Brent Seabrook netting three apiece. The Blackhawks are 100-43 in their last 143 home games. Chicago has won five straight home games since losing the season opener to the New York Rangers. They are in bounce back mode after a 5-4 loss at Minnesota, but the Blackhawks are 21-6 after allowing five goals or more in their previous game.
