Los Angeles at Buffalo

The Kings made the playoffs last season, but were eliminated in the first round, four games to one, by the Edmonton Oilers. They head to Buffalo for their first game of the season against the Sabres, who already have two games under their belt—both losses—from the Global Series in Prague. Buffalo managed just one goal in each start vs. a tough Devils' squad. You have to wonder what kind of toll it takes, traveling out of the country for your first two games of the season, and playing your third game to your opponents' first game. Peak physical condition hasn't been reached yet, and throw jet lag in there, and this one could be a grind. I like the edge here for LA. Take the Kings.
