The early returns have been mixed for Phoenix, but what is evident early is that they are going to struggle against the better teams. Phoenix has a pair of wins vs. teams that have a combined 3-5 mark to start the season, but have not broken through in their other three games vs. teams at 9-5 to start the season. Los Angeles represents the latter of that group, as the Kings have started at 3-1 through four games. The Kings have done a very good job holding serve in the role of a favorite, embracing the chalk to an 8-2 mark in their last 10, and are also 9-3 in their last 12 as a favorite up to -150. The Coyotes have not solved the teams from the Western Conference, now at 1-8 in their last nine, and are also just 1-7 in their last eight vs. a team with a winning record on the season. Go with Los Angeles for the road win in this one.
