This is a nice price on a good Florida team - one with a winning record both home and away. They are No. 5 on the power play and No. 11 defensively in goals against. They are on a three-game skid, losing all three by one goal. Prior to that, they had won three of four, including as a dog of +160 and +110. First place Toronto is getting a lot of respect from the oddsmakers and the public, but they are 2-2 the last four games, off a 7-0 home loss to Boston. There is plenty to be worried about with this team, ranking No. 27 defensively in goals against (3.3 goals allowed per game), No. 20 on the power play and No. 30 in penalty killing. Those are not first place stats! The offense is carrying this team, but at some point offense goes cold (as we saw the last game) and you need something else to fall back on. Also, the Maple Leafs are 10-21 in their last 31 vs. the Southeast. Take Florida.
