Florida is showing that its run to the Finals last year was no fluke. They're third in the NHL Playoffs in scoring (3.55 goals per game) while the defense is fourth in goals given up (2.46 per game). During the regular season, they were No. 1 in goals allowed (2.42 per game) and second in save percentage (.918), while the offense was 11th in goals scored. Florida has won four of five, including a pair of routs of the Bruins, 6-1 and 6-2, one at Boston. They're on a 13-4 run winning nine of those by more than one goal. New York is on a 4-2 run, losing once as a favorite with three of the wins by just one goal. The wagering value is on the talented and balanced visitors to win Game 1. Take Florida as my NHL Game of the Month.
