Florida is a big dog, but they've won two in a row, including a 3-1 win the last game at the Rangers as a +210 puppy! They have outscorred their last two opponents 7-2, winning at Carolina as a +155 dog, too. Rookie Jacob Markstrom has been stellar in goal as he followed a 33-save performance against Carolina by stopping 44 shots in Thursday's 3-1 victory in New York. They face a New Jersey team that is on a 4-10 run with all kinds of changes taking place. Aging goalie Martin Brodeur returned from a back injury to play the last game; he hadn't played since Feb. 21. Plus, New Jersey acquired 26-year-old Matt D'Agostini from the St. Louis Blues for a conditional fifth-round pick in 2015. The Devils are 2-7 in their last nine games when playing on one day of rest, and 1-5 following a win, so they can't be trusted, especially as big chalk. Take Florida.
