The Edmonton Oilers have had a very unbalanced schedule to start the NHL season as they have played 18 of their first 26 games on the road. This hasn't given them much of an opportunity to establish a home-ice advantage as they have been a breakeven 3-3-2. They have actually only been on home ice five times since October 27, with little success as they have just a single win to show for it. The Panthers have been a hot team, tasting defeat just once in their last five games. The road has been friendly of late as well as they have now won three straight on foreign ice. This is a great time to catch the Oilers. The Panthers are playing well and are a live dog here, so I'll back them on the road.
