There isn't much separation between these teams in the standings and their home and road are just about even. The Hurricanes are just 8-8-1 at home while the Panthers are 8-9-1 on the road. We have like teams playing to a line that under the circumstances tilts in value to the dog. The Panthers recent play shows added value as they have lost just twice in their last eight outings. The Hurricanes recent fortunes have not been good. They have collected the win in just two of their last seven on home ice, and in just 3 of 11 games overall.
