Florida at Buffalo

Florida has won seven of the past eight meetings although this is the first time the teams have met this season. The Panthers currently have won seven of eight after defeating Pittsburgh 5-2 on Wednesday night for their ninth road win in a row. Anton Lundell scored twice and Matthew Tkachuk added a a goal and two assists and Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 25 shots for the surging Panthers. Anthony Stolarz is likely in net tonight and he is 8-5-2 with a 2.11 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. Stolarz has allowed only six goals his past four starts. Buffalo has lost five of eight, but the Sabres do come off a 7-0 rout of Los Angeles on Tuesday. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is probable with a 13-13-2 record. The Sabres are 2-9 after scoring five or more goals their previous game and Florida is 12-2 after allowing two or fewer goals its previous game.
