The St. Louis Blues capitalized on a great defense, and strong play in front of the net last season. They had a bad stretch this season when they allowed 37 goals over a nine-game stretch, or better than 4 per contest. They have gotten that defensive swagger back, allowing just 12 scores in their last six games at 2 per contest. They have also had a lot more success on the offensive end as they have scored 4 or more in nine of their first 19 games, after doing so just 19 times in 11 games a year ago. That combination vs. an Edmonton team that has scored 2 or fewer goals in 10 of their last 14 puts the puckline into positive territory here, especially with Edmonton at just 32-83 in their last 115 games on the road. Play the Blues on the puckline.
