The New York Rangers lost two straight by a single goal before getting four goals in a win over Detroit. They tallied four more yesterday in a 5-4 loss at Toronto, but this offense continues to be outstanding ranked 10th in the league in goals scored. Rangers coach Alain Vigneault took issue with what he considered a couple of questionable penalty calls the last game. Penalties to New York's Conor Allen (roughing) and Carl Hagelin (hooking) put Toronto on a 5-on-3 power play for 1:38. Now they come home and the Rangers are 39-19 when playing on no days rest and 38-18 against a team with a winning percentage below .400. Into town comes last place Edmonton, a long way from home. They have a weak offense (19th in goals scored) and a worse defense, 28th in goals allowed. The Oilers are 52-125 in their last 177 road games, and the home team holds all the edges. Play the New York Rangers.
