Edmonton at Nashville

The Edmonton Oilers were playing surprisingly good hockey early on, but their fate has changed dramatically. Their first 12 games saw them allow just a total of 18 goals, at 1.5 per contest.  However, over their last eight contests they have allowed a stunning 31. That is right around four per contest, so the low number here is going to be under siege. Nashville has been a hot and consistent offense over their last ten games which has seen them tally three or more goals in nine of the ten and have topped the total in their last four at home vs. a team with a sub-.400 road winning percentage. Edmonton is now 9-3 to the OVER facing a team with a losing home record on the season. Yes, Nashville is 4-3-2 at home, but that is four wins in nine games or less than .500 to answer that potential question. I'm playing this one OVER the total.
