The Dallas Stars have for the most part played excellent hockey all season long. They have made the commitment on the defensive end which has resulted in 22 opponents to date scoring just 2 goals or less against them. That has shown itself in recent play as the Stars have allowed 2 or less in three of their last four, averaging allowing just 1.75 over their last four games. Edmonton comes to Dallas limping badly having come out on the right side of just two of their last 12. The Stars’ proficiency on defense has been mirrored in the opposite direction for the Oilers offense, as they have failed to top the 2 goal mark in 22 games. It stands to reason that the Oilers are 5-1 to the UNDER facing a team that allowed 2 or less in their last game over the last six. The Stars are 4-0 to the UNDER in their last four vs. opponent with a road winning percentage of under .400, and 12-5 UNDER in their last 17 off a single day of rest. I will play the UNDER in this one.
