Edmonton at Colorado

Colorado is on a tear this year. They are 12-5 and perfect at home. So what am I doing picking the Oilers here? Bear with me. Colorado looks to be for real, but are they really this good? They aren't THIS good and they are due to fall back some. This is game in which the Avs could get caught resting a bit. They are starting to believe all the hype, and they can't be too concerned with the Oilers, the way they are playing. Meanwhile, Edmonton has got to be fiercely trying to turn things around, and they are playing with revenge for a 3-0 loss in Edmonton a couple of weeks ago, so I expect a top effort from them. They have had success here in Colorado, winning the last two times here by a combined score of 11-1. I like the odds on Edmonton here.
