Edmonton at Colorado

The Edmonton Oilers have been good on the road as indicated by their .500+ record. They have been getting it done lately where they have posted the win in six of their last nine. They have really been putting the puck in the net, as their last nine road games have yielded 37 goals, or just better than four per game. The Avalanche has been one of the most inconsistent teams in the NHL. They have already yielded three winning streaks of three games or more and have also had three losing streaks of three games or more. Right now they are on a negative tilt, having dropped their last two. The Oilers have been producing on the road, and the Avalanche are on the downside of their up-and-down season, and I'll back the Oilers here.
