Edmonton at Buffalo

Edmonton won five in a row capped by a 2-1 overtime victory at Boston on Tuesday, but then the Oilers lost to Columbus in a letdown situation on Thursday. Calvin Pickard allowed three goals against the Blue Jackets and Stuart Skinner figures to be back in net for Edmonton today. Skinner is 29-13-2 with a 2.60 goals-against average and he has won his past four starts while allowing only six goals. The Oilers have won 16 of 21 road games and they are averaging 3.51 goals per game this season compared to 2.89 for Buffalo. The Sabres have lost 18 of 32 at home and they are on a current three-game losing streak following a 4-2 loss at Nashville on Thursday.
