Edmonton may be young but the kids are more than all right at eighth in goals scored and allowed, and fifth on the power play. Edmonton finished two points behind Anaheim in the Pacific division, but had a +35 goal differential for the season while the Ducks were +23. The Oilers are on a 16-5 run, including 21-8 against the Western Conference. The offense managed 12 goals but managed to dispatch San Jose in six games with some stellar defense, and the team is 37-18-5 UNDER the total following a win. While Edmonton came out of the first-round series healthy, the Anaheim Ducks did not. Anaheim's top defenseman Cam Fowler hasn't played since April 4 because of a knee injury, while another top-four defenseman, Sami Vatanen, missed the final three games of the series with the Flames because of an upper-body injury. Anaheim is #18 in the NHL in goals scored, #17 on the power play focusing on defensive first, third in goals allowed, and fourth in penalty killing. Anaheim is 19-9-9 UNDER the total against the Western Conference, including 12-5-12 UNDER versus the Pacific Division. Edmonton won the last game 3-2 in overtime April 1, part of a 4-1-2 run UNDER when they clash. This is an excellent spot for the dog in a defensive duel. Take Edmonton and the UNDER.
