Detroit at Toronto

The playoffs were looking good for Detroit for awhile, but the Red Wings have been in meltdown mode for the past month as their young team appears to be choking down the stretch. Detroit has lost 15 of its past 20 games following a 6-5 overtime defeat against Pittsburgh on Thursday. Alex Lyon allowed all six goals and he is probable tonight with a 20-18-5 mark this season and a 3.03 goals-against average. Ilya Samsonov is confirmed for Toronto with a stellar 23-7-7 record and he has gotten great support from his teammates as he owns a 3.08 GAA. The Maple Leafs have won six of eight although they do come off a 6-5 loss to New Jersey. Toronto is No. 2 in the NHL scoring 3.65 goals per game and Detroit allows 3.30.
