Detroit at Tampa Bay

Detroit is well coached and has been to the postseason 25 straight seasons. An already strong team adds forwards Thomas Vanek, Steve Ott and Frans Nielsen. Last year the Red Wings had a winning record both home and away. Detroit goalie Petr Mrazek is in net after going 27-16-6 with a 2.33 goals-against average and .921 save percentage last season. Tampa Bay hasn't had much of an offseason the last two years, getting deep in the playoffs before losing each time, including a trip to the Finals.
