The Nashville Predators have come out of nowhere and produced an NHL best record at 41-14-7 so far this season. They have been lethal on home ice where they are 26-4-1. This one won't be so easy, as the Detroit Red Wings have been an elite team going on at least two decades, and this year could once again be special as Detroit is 34-15-11 on the season, and half those wins have come on the road. The Red Wings are at their best after a good defensive effort of allowing two or fewer goals in their previous game as they are 8-1 in their last nine. They are also 10-3 vs. the West, and skate better when active, winning four straight when playing for the fourth time in six days.
