Detroit at Florida

Detroit and Florida are off to slow starts and the Red Wings come off a 3-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday when Jimmy Howard stopped 35 of 38 shots and the Panthers blew out Anaheim 8-3 although they have lost three of their last five games.  Radim Vrbara recored his seventh career hat trick for Florida against the Ducks. Howard has a 2.62 goals-against average and .929 save percentage this season and the Wings have gone UNDER six of their last seven against Atlantic Division teams. Florida is just 3-7 after a win and 5-13 on one day of rest dating to last season. Detroit has stayed UNDER its last three games  while scoring only three goals.  The Panthers have allowed 10 power-play goals and the due factor is in Howard's favor as he's lost his last two games despite saving 66 of 70 shots.  Play the Red Wings and the UNDER.
