Detroit at Florida

Detroit is playing for the No. 1 draft pick as it is clearly the worst team in the league with only 21 points this season and dead last in the Atlantic Division. Goalie Jimmy Howard is 2-12-1-0 with a 4.02 goals-against average and he's up against Florida'a Chris Driedger, who owns a 1.69 GAA in five appearances. The Red Wings are 1-7 their last eight Saturday games and 1-5 their last six playing on at least three days rest. Of course, it doesn't matter much what the trends are because the Wings are losing in almost any situation. Florida has won the last four meetings, including a 4-0 shutout on Nov. 2. The Panthers were embarrassed in a 6-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Monday and look to bounce back tonight. Take the Panthers.
