Detroit at Dallas

Detroit lost 4-3 in overtime at Chicago on Tuesday, but Petr Mrazek made 39 saves and is probable to be in goal for tonight's matchup. The Red Wings scored three times in the second period against the Blackhawks, but were shutout the rest of the way. Dallas comes off a 2-0 loss at Anaheim for its fourth defeat in its last five games. Antti Niemi made 36 saves for the Stars, who had no success against Ducks goalie John Gibson. Detroit won the first meeting 3-1 on Nov. 29 and the Wings have won five of the last six meetings dating to the last two seasons.
