Detroit at Dallas

The defending Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings have rolled to six-straight wins, and have been scoring over four goals a game in the process. Most of that work was done on home ice as the Wings have shown vulnerability on the road. While they have been scoring in bunches, they have been giving it up on the road. They have given up 25 goals in their last seven road tilts, and they are 3-4 in those seven. Dallas comes into this one after four straight on the road. At home, they have been a much better team where they are 5-1 in their last six. They also enter this one with a sour taste in their mouths after a 6-1 drubbing by the Wings just four days ago on the road. The home team has captured seven of the last 10 in this series. Despite the Wings recent scoring, this series has played out much differently. The last seven played in Dallas has seen five UNDERS, one OVER and a push. In the last 26 overall meetings between these teams, they have played 16-7-3 to the UNDER. As a result, I will back the Stars and the UNDER here.
