Detroit at Dallas

Dallas is on a three-game winning streak following its win in the Winter Classic on Wednesday as the Stars scored four unanswered goals against Nashville to win 4-2. Now the Stars get Detroit, which not only is the worst team in the NHL, but also is suffering from numerous key injuries, including forwards Anthony Mantha and Andreas Athanasiou.  Dallas goalie Ben Bishop is 14-9-2-1 with a 2.33 goals-against average and his counterpart tonight is backup goalie Jonathan Bernier, who is 8-11-0-2 with a 3.05 GAA. The Red Wings average only 2.17 goals while allowing 3.80. The Wings are 19-39 their last 58 games versus the Western Conference and 20-54 their last 74 road games.
