The Red Wings limped into the break with back-to-back losses to close out the first half of the season. The offense has not been a problem for the Red Wings as they have netted 48 goals in their last 12 games, scoring a minimum of three in each of the 12 games. It has been the defensive end has been lacking as they allowed six goals each in their last two games before the break and five goals just three games prior to that. The five-game totals show 20 goals, or four per game. That might spell trouble for them against a Blue Jackets’ team that has scored 22 goals in their last six games, or 3.7 per contest. Regardless of the outcome, this one looks like a potential shootout. The Wings have played five-straight OVERS after allowing five or more goals in their previous game, while the Blue Jackets are 4-0 to the OVER in their last four as a dog and 5-0 in their last five against the West to the OVER. I'll give the call to the OVER here.
