Detroit at Colorado

As the spread indicates, these two teams are evenly matched as Detroit is 11-11 on the road and Colorado 11-10 at home. Detroit could easily have a losing record though as they allow a very high 3.0 goals per game away from home and they have allowed 20 over their last five games. Colorado can score in bunches and their defense has played much better of late. Colorado is 10-5 this year vs. winning teams and 10-4 vs. high scoring teams like Detroit. The Avs are also 18-4 when playing with 2 days rest over the past two sesaons. We'll back them here at home at even money.
