The Chicago Blackhawks got a lot of recognition this season as they set the record for most consecutive games getting at least 1 point. They quickly dispatched Minnesota in the first round four games to one, and now take on Detroit in Game One of the second round. Detroit is no stranger to pressure and the playoffs as this is their 19th straight appearance. They knocked off Anaheim in a seven-game series, winning the finale on the road. The two playoffs losses by the Ducks gave them just nine home losses on the season. Four of those, almost half, came against Detroit, so they are plenty capable of winning in a tough venue. The Blackhawks did not have an easy time with this Detroit team during the regular season as three of the four games, including the two in Chicago, were decided in overtime or a shootout. Detroit has come to play and has been competitive vs. Chicago all season, and this one should once again come down to the wire. Play on Detroit on the puckline.
