Detroit at Buffalo

Detroit is headed for one of the worst seasons ever and it has won only four road games and currently is on a nine-game losing streak. The goaltending has been horrendous as Jimmy Howard has a record of 2-20-1-1 and he owns a 4.12 goals-against average and .884 save percentage. Buffalo is in desperate need of wins as it battles for a playoff spot, but the Sabres still have a huge advantage over the Red Wings, who average just 2.04 goals per game while allowing 3.82. Howard has allowed 13 goals his last three starts and the Wings are 4-23 their last 27 games when following a home loss of at least three goals.
