Dallas at New Jersey

This is the first meeting this season and Dallas has won five of the past seven meetings and four of its past six games overall. The Stars will look to bounce back from Thursday's 5-1 loss at Philadelphia in which they were outshot 43-16 against the red-hot Flyers. Jake Oettinger had an off night allowing all five goals two nights after he allowed one goal in a 5-1 victory over Los Angeles. Oettinger still is 13-9-2 with a 2.96 goals-against average and has spent time on the injured list. Nico Daws is likely in net for New Jersey and he is 3-3-0 with a 2.70 GAA and he has lost three of his past four starts. The Stars are 8-1 versus the Metropolitan Division and they have won five of six against teams that allowed two or fewer goals their previous game.
